About Me
Hi, I’m Aysha.
I’ve spent years creating spaces where people feel seen, supported, and connected—especially those caring for loved ones with disabilities. I’m a community builder, facilitator, and coach—and I know that healing often begins when someone really listens.
My work is about being present, asking questions that help untangle what matters, and helping people take small steps that feel possible—especially when everything feels like too much. It’s not about having a formula. It’s about relationships—the kind built on compassion and curiosity, and guided by a quiet, persevering voice that keeps whispering: something more is possible.
For three decades, I’ve supported individuals and communities in ways that center love, interdependence, and a deep commitment to inviting every voice. For the past 15 years, my focus has been on helping families build circles of support.
I’ve worn a lot of hats—facilitator, coach, nonprofit leader, writer, unofficial therapist, mediator, menu planner, listener of the unspoken, meaning-maker, the one who loves… whatever the moment called for.
I’ve also been the daughter, the sister, the friend—trying to hold it all together while wondering, "Who’s holding me?" That’s part of why I do this work: to walk beside people who are carrying a lot and remind them they don’t have to do it alone.
So I created my own business to offer support that is gentle and clear. Practical and imaginative. Grounded in your reality, yet fluid enough to hold your hopes.
I also bring:
My sense of humor
A deep love of words and beauty
My Pakistani and Islamic roots
And years of listening with heart to what matters most—spoken, or unspoken
My style of support is a little bit structured, a little bit soulful. Sometimes that means a well-thought out agenda and presentation and a gentle check-in. Other times, it’s a burst of pink heart emojis or (when my inner perfectionist takes the wheel) a handout with the perfect font, line breaks, and lovingly overthought formatting that just might convince you to take your next brave step.
I believe isolation is one of the most painful parts of caregiving—and what ails much of our society. I also believe connection and community, even in small and imperfect doses, are among the most powerful antidotes we have. That’s the heart of what I offer—and if this resonates, I’d be honored to meet you.
